The Story and Production Notes

The Inescabable Truth is another Mainstreet UFO film that looks at a serious subject: this time, we reflect on man's consistent attempts to destroy himself. The movie was filmed during a holiday break at Olivet, which helped to limit the interference from passers-by. Without an additional person to help film, Rob filmed the second half of the movie first by himself, acting as the director, cameraman and actor. It was a challenge to film in some areas, such as his dorm-room. This room contained a mirror that had to be carefully eclipsed so as not to reveal the camera to the audience. The first half of the film was shot later with Andrew calling the shots and Brad Saffell doing a lot of the camerawork. It took a couple of days for Robert to edit.
